You will working on HV & BESS projects delivering hands-on electrical design and power system studies across major renewable energy projects. Electrical Engineer The Opportunity Join a specialist engineering team delivering utility-scale renewable energy and high-voltage infrastructure projects across Australia. This role sits at the centre of design delivery for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and substation projects up to 500 MW / 2.2 GWh , combining hands-on electrical design with power system studies to deliver safe, compliant, and constructible solutions. Key Responsibilities Develop and review single line diagrams (SLDs), schematics, and electrical layouts Produce earthing layouts, cable layouts, trench details, and general arrangement drawings Support delivery of BESS and substation projects (sub-5 MW to utility scale) Liaise with utilities and clients for approvals Ensure compliance with AS/NZS, IEC, and DNSP/TNSP standards.
