Requirements Driver’s licence and reliable car Willingness to work both onsite and occasionally off-site Forklift licence desirable (but not essential) About the Apprenticeship Full-time, 4-year apprenticeship Study Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade 40 hours per week Monthly RDO Potential overtime opportunities in the future What You’ll Be Doing Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components from technical drawings Perform MIG, TIG, and ARC welding on various materials Work with mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium Fabricate structural steel, conveyors, hoppers, and process equipment Measure, mark, and lay out materials for accurate fabrication Conduct quality checks to meet required standards Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment Work collaboratively with team members to meet project deadlines
