Pre-Contracts Manager – Civil Infrastructure Location: Sydney, NSW A leading civil construction company delivering major infrastructure projects across NSW & QLD is looking for a Pre-Contracts Manager to drive growth and lead pre-contract activities. This is a great opportunity for someone with an aptitude for procurement, business development and pre-contract negotiations. The business are well-established, highly reputable and consistently busy across bulk earthworks, TfNSW, utilities, defense and renewables projects. What you’ll do: Lead tendering, EOIs/ROIs, and early contractor involvement strategies. Manage and grow the business pipeline while identifying new markets and partnerships. Drive strategic planning, competitor analysis, and reporting to senior leadership. Build, lead, and develop a high-performing pre-contracts team. Ensure seamless handover from pre-contract to construction teams. What we’re looking for: 10 years' in civil construction business development, contracts, or project delivery in Australia. Experience with infrastructure tenders, commercial management, and estimating. Demonstrated longevity in previous positions Experience working in Tier 2/Tier 3 environments (desirable) Demonstrated understanding of TfNSW specifications and designs Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline. Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and relationship-building skills.
