The International Supply Chain Specialist supports the Supply Chain team by improving the performance, visibility and coordination of the Company's international supply network. The role works closely with suppliers, freight partners, Supply Chain Coordinators and Key Account Managers to resolve supply issues, improve supplier performance, support sourcing initiatives, supplier management and supplier negotiations and identify opportunities to optimise freight, pricing and delivery outcomes. The position monitors international shipments, manages supply risks and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives to ensure reliable product availability and efficient supply chain operations. Identify opportunities to improve supplier pricing, freight efficiency and delivery performance. Supplier performance is actively monitored, with improvements in on-time delivery, responsiveness and product quality. Supplier issues such as defects, shortages or delivery delays are resolved efficiently with minimal disruption to markets. Strong collaboration with Demand Planner and Supply Chain Coordinators to ensure alignment between demand forecasts, purchasing activities and product availability. International shipping documentation and supply information are accurate, compliant and readily accessible to relevant stakeholders. Supply chain data within ERP and reporting systems is maintained with high accuracy and integrity. Support reporting on spend, supplier performance, cost movements and supply risks. Strong working relationships are maintained between suppliers, Supply Chain Coordinators, Operations, and Quality teams to support effective issue resolution. Skills and Experience: Relevant Tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain Management are essential, with APICS, ISM, CIPS or equivalent 5 years’ experience in a hands-on supply chain, procurement and logistics role Ability to interpret supply chain data and a competent user of ERP systems and reporting tools eg; Excel, Power BI, Supply Chain dashboards Experience coordinating supplier relationships and international supply activities Experience monitoring shipment, tracking, delivery performance and supply chain risks Exposure to import/export documentation and international shipping processes Clear and confident communicator with high level negotiation skills and ability to engage effectively with suppliers and freight partners. Strong time management, high level of accuracy, planning and organisational ability Demonstrates ownership, accountability and a solutions focused mindset MUST be living in NZ and have permanent working rights.
