YOUR ROLE As a KEY member being mentored by the Head Business Development/Finance Manager in a close-knit team, you will enjoy combining BOTH your sales technical finance/credit skills : developing new business by identifying and introducing new clients, closing sales, expanding new referral sources, building and maintaining relationships with mortgage brokers, accountants, lawyers, financial planners and maximizing cross-sell opportunities; and analyzing, assessing and managing loan applications [property/construction/commercial] from enquiry through to settlement. WHO YOU ARE We are interested in hearing from you if you: Have a degree in finance/commerce (or similar) AND/OR a certificate/diploma of financial services (mortgages or finance) or financial planning (RG146) or similar; Have 4-10 years experience in the lending/mortgages/financial services industry with a proven track-record in ‘hunter’ sales/ new business development [essential]; Are an ambitious success-driven ‘go-getter’ with a passion for customer service and getting results AND a strong team player (not ‘me’-centric) ; Have outstanding communication, influencing, negotiation and relationship/people skills.
