YOUR ROLE In this KEY role, being mentored 1:1 by an outstanding multi-talented partner being part of a vibrant A TPD/Super team , you will love the challenge stimulation satisfaction of fighting to do justice for your plaintiff clients in respect of their TPD [total permanent disability]/insurance claims. You will have full carriage of your own files direct client relationships have the support of 2 graduate lawyers . You’ll enjoy the full-spectrum VARIETY of: obtaining client instructions, reviewing medical evidence, trust deed/insurance policies, legal research, providing technical legal advice in respect of the viability of the claim, liaising with super funds, insurers/their solicitors and doctors, briefing counsel and attending court/settlement conferences mentoring juniors. WHO YOU ARE We are interested in hearing from you if you: have minimum 2 years OR MORE experience as a personal injury lawyer managing TPD/super/insurance claims from start to finish EITHER working in a law firm OR in-house for an insurer or super fund; have strong technical legal knowledge/skills client focused and deadline driven; have a high work ethic thrive in a vibrant, busy fast-paced environment; are hungry to accelerate your career as a TPD/super lawyer with one of Australia’s most successful plaintiff law firms.
