We’re looking for a Training Coordinator to join our Sale campus team on a permanent part-time basis. The Role Based at our Sale campus, Monday to Thursday (0.8 FTE), you’ll report to the Regional Training Manager and be the operational backbone of local training delivery. Day to day, you’ll be: Coordinating and reconciling training compliance documentation to assess, result and certify students Monitoring student attendance, progression and assessment outcomes - and stepping in when someone needs support Managing student placement arrangements and liaising with trainers for work-based observations Providing pastoral care and guidance to students navigating their training journey Supporting trainers and assessors to deliver consistently to PTA standards and VET requirements Processing trainer and assessor payment claims accurately Maintaining accurate records and preparing reports for the Training Manager Contributing to continuous improvement and curriculum feedback initiatives Who We’re Looking For You’re someone who genuinely cares about student outcomes - not just the paperwork that surrounds them. You’re organised, calm under pressure, and know how to build relationships with a wide range of people. You’ll be the right fit if you: Have experience coordinating training delivery or compliance within the VET sector Understand VET compliance requirements and what it takes to keep a training operation running smoothly Communicate clearly and confidently - in writing and in person Can juggle multiple priorities without dropping the ball on the details Build rapport easily with students, trainers and external stakeholders Bring initiative and problem-solving instincts to the role Hold a current Victorian driver’s licence and Working with Children Check (or are prepared to obtain these) Experience in health, community services or foundation skills training is highly regarded. A Degree or Diploma in a relevant field (Management, Education or similar) is preferred, and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is desirable but not essential.
