With a strong pipeline of work and continued growth, we are expanding our team. We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and driven candidate to fill the role of Business Support Officer (BSO) on a full-time basis at our Fortitude Valley Office. The role requires an experienced administrator who can thrive in a fast-paced environment, preferably with a background in electrical, construction, or resource industries. Reporting to the Project & Program Manager, the position involves managing daily administrative tasks for asset inspection and pole reinforcement operations across Brisbane, Rockhampton, and Toowoomba, while also supporting other contracts as needed. What You'll Be Doing Maintaining personnel records, training data and operational registers (including LAFHA, test & tag, and asset registers etc) Liaising with field and office teams to coordinate site-specific requirements Assist with purchasing/invoicing requirements, i.e. Invoicing & claims for subcontractors monthly. Assisting with onboarding and mobilisation activities, including uniform coordination and competency tracking Contributing to regular operational and client reporting Preparing quotes and processing billing for private inspection works Provide administrative support to supervisors, project managers, and program managers, assisting with day-to-day coordination and general office tasks. Essential criteria 2 years' experience in a similar role. High level communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail. Proficiency in Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook skills. High efficiency and accuracy of typing and word processing. Excellent time management and organisational skills. Ability to work co-operatively and effectively both independently and in a team environment. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, solve problems, manage and meet deadlines and maintain high quality of work.
