Description The Riverina Redevelopment Joint Venture is a 50/50 joint venture between CPB Contractors and Downer to undertake major upgrades and replacement of existing infrastructure and facilities to support Defence capability for the next 30 years. The proposed project consists of a program of works across three Department of Defence establishments including: Albury Wodonga Military Area (including North, South & East Bandiana, Latchford Barracks, Wirlinga) Blamey Barracks (Kapooka) RAAF Base Wagga The proposed capital investment of $2 billion will incorporate a variety of elements including: Construction of new messing and living in accommodation Construction of new training facilities Refurbishment and upgrading of existing buildings Remedial works and upgrades to infrastructure services For further information please visit the Riverina Redevelopment Joint Venture Website https://rrjv.com.au/ The opportunity We currently have an opportunity for a Quality Manager to join our team. This position will provide significant contribution to the development, implementation and continuous improvement of operations for the RRJV. What you’ll do The role has a broad remit, with key responsibilities outlined below: Manage and participate in audit schedule, ensuring compliance and corrective actions. Oversee Business Management System improvements and documentation maintenance. Implement, manage and review Business Management System for operational enhancements. Identify and implement initiatives to enhance quality performance in maintenance processes. Monitor adherence to quality standards for both internal and external processes. Develop and maintain systems for assurance activities and standards compliance. What you’ll bring Bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar studies in construction quality management, risk management and/or business improvement techniques required. Practical experience in Quality Assurance or related field. Experience as a Lead Auditor of Quality Management Systems with integrated (Safety, Health and Environmental) management system auditor capabilities. Relevant construction quality management experience. High level of business process improvement and program management skills.
