We are seeking skilled and motivated professionals to join our Libraries and Lifelong Learning team in delivering high-quality, welcoming library services and engaging programs that promote reading, learning, and community connection. Learning Services Officers provide customer service, including assisting the community to access and use library services and resources. In addition, the roles will deliver learning programs, support collection maintenance, and contribute to daily branch operations. Qualifications And Experience Experience in a Public Library or similar environment Certificate III in Library and Information Services or equivalentpost secondary qualification. Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to use a variety of computer hardware and software including handheld devices and associated technologies. Working with Children Check Key Selection Criteria Qualifications and experience as listed above. Demonstrated ability to champion, model and promote the corporate values. Demonstrated communication and customer service skills and ability to deal with difficult customers. Ability to develop working relationships with staff and work together in a team environment. Knowledge and understanding of health and safety issues relevant to work activities and work area.
