We are seeking experienced Principal Project Officers to lead the delivery of small to medium complexity health infrastructure projects. This role provides end-to-end client-side project management, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with Queensland Health governance, safety, and compliance requirements. You will work closely with HHS, consultants, and contractors, providing strong leadership, financial oversight, and risk management across the project lifecycle. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver health projects that vary in size and complexity around the state. The role includes travel to the regions (as required) to continue proactive engagement with the local market, HHS stakeholders, and First Nations representatives. Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, forecasts, and risk. Apply best-practice project controls, governance, and reporting. Manage and coordinate consultants, contractors, and project teams. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. About you Demonstrated experience delivering complex infrastructure projects, preferably within a health or similar environment. Strong capability in project management methodologies, financial management, and risk management. Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage consultant and contractor performance. High-level communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Relevant qualifications in project management, engineering, architecture, or a related discipline are well regarded.
