Description: What you’ll do: We are seeking a Practice Manager to take on the responsibility of ensuring the smooth running of operations and the administration of our clinics. This role will involve: Ensure best practice and efficient administration Ensure operational processes are developed for the clinic and that staff are trained on and adhere to these processes. Be a key member of the Leadership team of the Sinclair group and contribute at the CEO meeting Ensure appropriate commercial arrangements are in place and documented with suppliers and providers Provide analysis and reporting on key clinic metrics Develop/maintain patient billing policies and procedures Liaise with Medicare on behalf of Sinclair Dermatology Manage the Zedmed system (including updates, communicating with staff, training) Set up and maintain doctors and clinic schedules on Zedmed Confirm scheduling information with doctors/their Patient Coordinators, including periods of absence from the clinic or changes to schedules Assist in the induction of new doctors, including training doctors on the use of Zedmed Provide support to doctors on queries Assist the CEO with regulatory planning and processes (AHPRA, ACD, immigration and Medicare) for incoming and existing Fellows Create and maintain staff rosters to ensure there are adequate resources available Liaise with the Facilities Manager and the CEO about any premises or maintenance issues Liaise with the Facilities Manager to ensure all clinic equipment and machinery are in good working order Ensure all records (patient, doctor, staff and commercial) are maintained appropriately What You’ll Bring: A tertiary qualification in healthcare administration, business administration, or related field 2-5 years of medical practice management experience, ideally in a specialty practice The ability to analyse issues, solve problems and identify improvements Understanding of medical billing and coding Experience with insurance claims Strong customer service orientation Strong communication skills for interacting with physicians, staff, patients, and vendors The ability to foster a team-oriented, patient-centred environment Familiarity with recruitment and performance management Why Join Sinclair Dermatology?
