ABOUT THE COMPANY Join MCPBB Pty Ltd as a full-time truck driver based in Wangara Western Australia. We are a Western Australian manufacturing and construction services business. The company is associated with the wider Delstrat operations and provides a range of supporting services and products used across different stages of the building and construction process. Our business activities include earthmoving, crane hire, waste and bin hire, joinery, cabinetry and building material supply. ABOUT THE ROLE You’ll be behind the wheel of our safe, modern semi tippers and 8 x 4 trucks. We are seeking drivers who are customer service focused, needing a challenging role to utilize keen problem-solving skills. The job role includes: ·Operate heavy vehicles (including rigid and/or articulated trucks) to transport goods safely and efficiently to designated locations. The ability to reverse articulated trucks into tight locations is essential. Travel throughout the Perth metropolitan area as well as some country travelling. ·Conduct pre-start and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness, including checking brakes, tyres, lights, fuel, oil, and load security. ·Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment (e.g. forklifts, pallet jacks), ensuring correct handling and compliance with safety procedures. ·Secure cargo in accordance with load restraint guidelines to prevent damage or movement during transit. ·Plan and follow efficient delivery routes, taking into account traffic, road conditions, and delivery schedules. ·Comply with all relevant road transport laws, fatigue management requirements, and workplace health and safety (WHS) regulations. ·Monitor vehicle performance and report faults, maintenance needs, or incidents promptly to management. ·Maintain accurate records, including logbooks, delivery documentation, and timesheets in line with regulatory requirements. ·Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and warehouse staff regarding delivery status and any issues encountered. ·Ensure timely delivery of goods while maintaining a high standard of customer service. ·Perform basic vehicle maintenance and coordinate servicing and repairs as required. ·Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those relating to safety, compliance, and operational standards. ABOUT YOU ·Hold a current HR license, with at least 8 years of relevant work experience ·Experience with Rear Lift, Crane, Hook Lift, Side Lift, or Front Lift trucks is preferred ·Reliable and punctual ·Physically capable and enough strength to engage in regular manual handling ·Professional and approachable with a calm temperament ·Safety-conscious and committed to following all policies and procedures, making regular quality checks of vehicles to ensure they can be driven safely ·Strong understanding of road transport regulations and a commitment to safe driving practices. ·Willing to complete a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol test as well as ongoing testing Salary: $76,600pa superannuation If you are interested, please send us your covering letter and CV
