The company’s role is to help clients navigate and comply with local, state and federal building regulations. About the role Have you finished a construction trade? Certificate IV Building? Or are you undertaking study to become a Qualified Building Certifier? Skills & Experience Keen interest in construction, building, trades, building & pest inspection, compliance. Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn Excellent communication and organisational skills Desire to enrol in (or currently studying) a relevant qualification to become a certifier Ability to obtain student membership with AIBS Driver’s licence and White Card Duties Understand building plans, specifications, codes, legislation & regulations Liaison with clients regarding the process & progress of their jobs Preparing and issuing documentation, requesting further information & actively following up Developing the technical and professional skills needed to become a qualified certifier When competent assisting senior certifiers with inspections, assessments, and compliance checks Visiting various building sites to review, inspect & report on works against regulatory requirements Culture Within the small team, workplace culture is built on collaboration, integrity and a shared commitment to excellence.
