DIDO Bus Driver required for a few swings in Savage River mine camp MR licence with Tas PPV required. Your new company Hays is partnering with a leading catering and facilities management provider responsible for managing the mine camp operations at Savage River. This client supports daytoday camp services and transport and is known for a strong safety culture and a supportive team environment. Your new role We are currently seeking an experienced DIDO Bus Driver for a casual position covering a limited number of swings. The role operates on a 7/7 roster (Tuesday to Monday), with accommodation and meals provided on site.The main focus of the position is the safe and efficient transport of mining crews between the camp, pit, and town site, along with assisting in general camp and vehicle support duties as required. Key duties include: Transporting crews to and from the pit during shift changeovers Picking up and dropping off opposite shifts Driving personnel between accommodation and mess facilities Completing regular shuttle runs during peak afternoon periods Collecting and returning pit overalls (washing, drying, folding)Stocking pit fridges Daily rubbish collection around the camp and town site Washing and cleaning buses General grounds upkeep Collecting stock from stores when required Shifts are split across early morning and afternoon periods, with fixed peak transport windows.
