We are currently seeking an experienced Business Development Manager for a company specialising in the design and construction of custom commercial and industrial projects. With the majority of projects ranging from $1M to $10M, this role offers the opportunity to manage each opportunity from inception through to pre-construction. Delivering projects from multi-use commercial facilities to large-scale warehouses and manufacturing sites, this privately owned organisation is experiencing rapid growth and specialises in rural and regional projects. The role offers commission, a fully maintained vehicle, and tools of the trade. It will involve site visits and requires someone who can build strong relationships with investors, project managers, and key decision-makers. Key Responsibilities • Identify and develop new business opportunities across commercial and industrial construction projects • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, contractors, and investors • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement sales strategies • Prepare and deliver presentations to prospective clients and partners • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms Key Requirements • Proven track record in business development within the construction industry • Strong understanding of commercial and industrial construction processes • Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously • Proficient computer skills, particularly Excel and CRM systems • Excellent communication and presentation skills • Ability to work collaboratively with Designers, Production, and Project Managers If you enjoy managing opportunities from concept to completion and thrive in a fast-paced, relationship-driven environment, this role offers excellent variety and long-term career growth.
