About the role The Enrolled Nurse at Temora Hospital delivers high-quality, patient-centred care, working collaboratively with Registered Nurses and the multidisciplinary team to achieve the best outcomes for patients. In this rural setting, you will play a vital role in assessing, implementing and evaluating care, while supporting patients and their families across all stages of their healthcare journey. Key responsibilities include: Deliver high-quality, patient-centred care across a diverse rural caseload, supporting patients throughout their healthcare journey. Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care in partnership with patients, carers, and the multidisciplinary team. Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition, ensuring timely escalation and safe clinical decision-making. Support smooth transitions of care, including discharge planning and coordination with community and external services. Contribute to a collaborative team culture while upholding safety, quality, and continuous improvement in a rural health setting. Your contribution as a healthcare professional will have a meaningful and positive impact, which is felt at a community level. Candidates will be required to meet the following criteria: Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse Demonstrated clinical skills in assessing patient needs and contributing to care planning and delivery Sound knowledge of patient safety, quality and risk, with a commitment to evidence based practice and continuous improvement. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Strong written and verbal communication skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution. Current Class C Driver Licence and a paid NSW Working With Children Check Australian Work Rights (sponsorship is not considered for this role)
