The NDIS Support Worker role is responsible for providing high-quality person-centered support to participants on the NDIS Scheme including social, community & recreational participation, in-home support & daily living activities. In this role you will: Provide a standard of care that ensures the highest level of dignity, privacy, and respect for the individual always, adhering to principles and standards of NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) Undertake personal care tasks, such as dressing, toileting and feeding; light housework duties; social support and community access, other services as required by the care plan. To support the individual to achieve optimal independence, control, and participation within their service provision Provide appropriate support and care as identified by the individual, family, and the program coordinator within the client service plan. Support the individual to actively participate in desired community activities. To support the client to maintain optimal health and well-being via the performance of identified tasks. To maintain time sheets, session records and other records as requested Submit all records at the designated times. Ability to work flexible hours Knowledge and understanding of the principles of person-centred care and enablement Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain one within three months of commencing employment.
