This role requires flexible working hours across Monday to Saturday between 7:00am and 6:00pm , including weekends and holiday periods. Minimum availability requirements: Must be available Fridays and Saturdays between 8:00am and 6:00pm. Must have a minimum of 20 hours availability per week within Monday to Saturday, 7:00am – 6:00pm In this role you will: Arrange, support, and supervise contact between children and young people and their birth families. Transport children and young people and their carers to appointments Support delivery of groups, including carer support groups and activity groups for children and young people Ensure all records/case notes are accurate and maintained in line with service, legislative, and Office of the Children’s Guardian (OCG) requirements, including the electronic casework system. Record and discuss any concerns around child safety with a Caseworker and/or the Team Leader Make “risk of significant harm’ reports to the Community Services Helpline when deemed necessary in consultation with the Team Leader or Manager. Work Collaboratively with the OOHC Team Ensure respectful Communication. Strong verbal and written communication skills Maintain professional relationships.
