Service Designer Contract role with one of the Big 4 Banks Your new company A major Big 4 Bank is looking for a Service Designer to shape holistic, crosschannel experiences supporting their merchant and business banking ecosystem. This role involves deep research, discovery, and understanding of backend processes and customer flows. Your new role What youll be doing Mapping and evaluating endtoend customer and staff journeys across multiple channels (not just digital). Conducting discovery research, interviews, and analysis to uncover pain points and systemic challenges. Assessing systems, processes and impacts across the broader product ecosystem, especially in merchant onboarding. Producing highquality service blueprints, customer journeys and insights to guide decisionmaking. Presenting findings and recommendations to stakeholders clearly and effectively. What you'll need to succeed Strong service design capability with a background in research and discovery. Ability to think holistically and evaluate experiences at a productwide or organisational level. Excellent communication and storytelling skills. Payments experience is a bonus, but not required. What you'll get in return The role offers a 12-month contract and $890 super on day rate. You'll be based in Sydney and enjoy flexible working arrangements (50% in the office).
