The Role This role brings senior credit expertise directly into our Sales & Broker Support team. You’ll help lift credit capability, improve turnaround times, and build confidence across the team, especially when dealing with complex or exception‑based scenarios. As the credit subject matter expert, you’ll provide clear guidance, practical coaching, and insights that help our people make informed, confident decisions. Credit Support & Escalation – Be the senior escalation point for complex scenarios, offering clear, balanced guidance on risk appetite and policy interpretation. Credit Capability & Enablement – Coach Sales and Support teams to strengthen credit judgment and embed confident decision making in daily workflows. Training & Education – Deliver practical training and communicate policy changes in a simple, easy to action way. Credit Heatmaps & Insights – Turn scenario data into meaningful insights that highlight trends, friction points, and opportunities to improve submission quality. Representation & Thought Leadership – Support broker education and represent Credit in webinars, sharing trends and insights with clarity and confidence. About you We’re looking for someone with strong stakeholder influence and a sales mindset. You’ll be able to translate credit policy and risk appetite into clear, practical guidance that empowers our Sales teams to pursue quality deals with confidence. You bring a balanced approach, strong judgment, and a passion for helping people succeed. Bring deep credit expertise and can confidently guide others through complex or exception‑based scenarios. Communicate clearly and simply especially when explaining policy, risk appetite or nuanced credit concepts. Build strong relationships and work well with both Sales and Credit teams, acting as the bridge between the two. Stay calm under pressure and make sound, balanced decisions that support great customer outcomes. Have a continuous improvement mindset and enjoy spotting patterns, insights, and opportunities to lift capability. Feel energised by coaching others and helping teams grow their confidence and independence. Are proactive, organised and able to manage competing priorities without losing sight of what matters.
