The Role As an Accountant, you'll play a pivotal role in a close-knit, collaborative environment. You’ll take ownership across a broad range of tax consultancy, accountancy, and business advisory services for a diverse portfolio worth $700k in fees. You will also have an admin support and junior accountant to help support you. There is an opportunity for this person to work out of their Melbourne office, however, the preference is to be with the team in Ballarat. Day to Day Preparation and reviewal of financial statements for all entities. Preparation and lodgement of BAS and FBT returns. Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Manage WIP to ensure jobs are completed on time and within budget. Provide management reporting, financial analysis, advice, and corporate advisory services. Providing training and support to junior team members. About you Completing or completed CA or CPA (or overseas equivalent). 3years experience in an Australian public practice environment. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Excellent time management, attention to detail, and communication Proactive, self-motivated, and committed to meeting deadlines.
