A little about the role As a Youth Worker in our Complex Care residential program, you will: Provide direct, therapeutic care in a live-in, rostered home environment Support children and young people (0–18 years) with complex needs and behaviours Respond calmly and effectively to critical incidents using trauma-informed practice Implement, review, and monitor individual care and therapeutic plans Work collaboratively with the broader care and clinical team Participate in a 24/7 rotating roster, including days, evenings, sleepovers, and weekends Remuneration: SCHADS Level 3, $48.31 - $51.81 /per hour inclusive of casual leave loading. You'll have Qualifications in Youth Work, Social Work, or Community Services Experience working with children and young people with complex needs A strong understanding of trauma-informed and therapeutic care Excellent communication, emotional awareness, and de-escalation skills Reliability, flexibility, and strong organisational skills A genuine passion for making a difference, every single day Highly regarded : Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) Mental Health First Aid Experience in residential or OOHC environments My Key Assets The health and wellbeing of our people is at the core of our employee and client experience.
