The Role: This is a 5 day, part time role – perfect for someone looking for school hours or work/life balance. The Administration Assistant – Front of House (FOH) provides key administrative support to the Hospitality team, ensuring the efficient and consistent delivery of services across Springvale Botanical Cemetery and Bunurong Memorial Park. Primarily based at Bunurong Memorial Park, with flexibility to support Springvale Botanical Cemetery as required, this role plays an important part in coordinating hospitality operations. You will support function bookings, scheduling, financial processes and compliance activities, while working closely with both front of house and back of house teams to ensure a seamless and high quality service experience. Responsibilities: Coordinate and process function enquiries, bookings, reporting and scheduling in a timely and accurate manner Liaise with internal teams, Funeral Directors and Next of Kin to confirm bookings and update function details Process orders, invoices and revenue activities, including reconciliation, cash handling and data entry Support scheduling and workforce allocation for functions and café operations Maintain and update hospitality systems, menus and internal communications across platforms Assist with stock control activities including stocktakes, monitoring par levels and reporting on variances and wastage Support compliance activities including food safety, audit requirements, WorkSafe practices and record keeping Foster strong collaboration between front of house and back of house teams to support smooth operations and service delivery Your Profile: Experience in an administrative role within hospitality or a similar fast paced environment Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities Confident working with financial processes, scheduling systems and administrative reporting Good understanding of food safety, compliance and audit requirements within hospitality environments Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across diverse teams and stakeholders Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systems quickly Customer focused, adaptable and collaborative, with a positive and can do attitude What’s on Offer: We offer a fulfilling career with exceptional personal and professional growth opportunities, along with a comprehensive range of benefits: Access to Leadership and Development Programs to foster professional growth and advancement.
