About the Role As a Service Technician, you’ll play a key role in maintaining, repairing, and supporting our range of refuse machines, sweepers, and static compaction equipment. You’ll work both in-house and in the field, ensuring our customers receive reliable, high‑quality service every time. This role includes: Performing maintenance, repairs, modifications, and pre‑delivery work on equipment Servicing and repairing non‑Bucher equipment as required Providing driver training to customers on our equipment Supporting customers and internal teams with technical advice, including occasional on‑call support Completing essential administrative tasks such as timesheets and stock reporting What You’ll Bring Essential Qualifications & Experience Relevant trade qualification (Automotive Mechanical, Electrical, Mechanical Fitting, etc.) Strong understanding of hydraulic and electrical schematics Experience with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Background working on heavy vehicles Proven skills in fault diagnosis and field service work Advanced welding skills (MIG/TIG/Stick) Experience with oxy and plasma cutting Desirable Heavy Rigid (HR) driver licence Forklift licence Who You Are We’re looking for someone who is: A strong communicator with solid written and verbal skills Reliable, organised, and committed to meeting deadlines Honest, ethical, and accountable A team player who supports others and shares knowledge Customer‑focused, with a genuine desire to build rapport and solve problems Respectful, professional, and well‑presented Why Join the team?
