About the Role A little summary of role and list responsibilities from PD The Enterprise Process & Automation Lead is the organisation’s internal expert in business process engineering – identifying, redesigning and automating core operational workflows, to improve the organisations process capability, critical in enabling Defence Health’s Target Operating Model. This includes improving efficiency, quality, cost discipline and member experience. This role moves beyond traditional process mapping. The successful candidate will have the following attributes: 5 years’ experience in business process improvement, operational excellence or process transformation roles. Demonstrated experience delivering measurable productivity outcomes. Experience building financial business cases and quantifying benefits. Advanced process mapping capability (BPMN/swim lanes). Experience partnering with technology teams and/or vendors to deliver automation solutions. Strong facilitation, influencing and stakeholder engagement skills. Strong ability to understand and leverage key drivers of simplification whilst remaining immune to complex agendas driving organisational inertia.
