This role is suited to a seasoned engineer with deep technical expertise, strong architectural thinking, and a commitment to engineering excellence. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using .NET and C#, following industry architecture, patterns, and design standards. Build and optimise data solutions leveraging RDBMS and advanced Transact‑SQL (views, triggers, stored procedures). Develop and enhance SOAP/REST web services, GUIs, and data/metadata management components - including time-series data. Support and contribute to migration activities for legacy systems (Mathematica exposure is preferred but not mandatory). Develop solutions with Visual Studio Tools for Office (VSTO). Drive and support DevOps capabilities including CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, environment management, and version control. Stay current with emerging technologies and maintain relevant industry certifications. Skills & Experience Advanced expertise in .NET, C#, and application architecture. Strong experience with RDBMS and advanced Transact‑SQL development. Knowledge of GUI design, web services, and data/metadata management. Proficiency with VSTO is highly desirable. Experience in legacy system support/migration (Mathematica preferred). Demonstrated experience working in DevOps‑centric environments. Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills. Work Environment This role requires 5 days in the office every fortnight.
