Long-term project opportunity with Genus | Join a culture that values innovation Work closely with experienced construction and engineering teams Play a key role on WA's Clean Energy Link - North Region project Genus is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join the team delivering the Clean Energy Link – North Region project, supporting major electrical infrastructure works across Western Australia. This role will suit an engineer who enjoys working closely with site teams and coordinating the technical delivery of electrical construction packages. Reporting to the Electrical Package Manager, the Electrical Engineer will be responsible for leading and coordinating electrical engineering activities across design, construction and commissioning phases of the project. This role will suit an experienced engineer who enjoys working closely with construction teams and overseeing the technical delivery of complex electrical infrastructure packages. Key responsibilities will include: Lead electrical engineering design and technical delivery in accordance with project specifications and Australian standards Interpret client scope of work and technical documentation and provide engineering direction to project teams Prepare and review engineering documentation including work packs, ITPs, ITRs, FATs, and drawings Provide technical assurance and guidance the to the construction team and vendors Management of Technical Queries (TQ’s) between relevant stakeholders Coordinate electrical engineering activities to ensure alignment with project milestones and construction schedules Essential Skills / Qualifications / Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering Minimum 3 years experience in electrical engineering or project engineering within infrastructure or energy projects Demonstrated experience working on utilities, transmission, renewables or major infrastructure projects Strong ability to interpret electrical design drawings (Primary and Secondary), technical specifications and scope of work documentation Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills when working with project and site teams About You Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering Minimum 3 years experience in an Electrical Project Engineering role Experience working on utilities, transmission, renewables, infrastructure or construction projects Ability to interpret design drawings and technical specifications Strong organisational, problem solving and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with site and project teams Desirable Experience working on major infrastructure or energy projects Previous site-based engineering experience Apply If you meet the above criteria and are interested in contributing to a major infrastructure project, please submit your application including your resume and cover letter outlining your availability.
