The Role In this role, you will: Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns for Individuals, Companies, Trusts and Partnerships Manage BAS, IAS and GST compliance for a portfolio of clients Assist with tax planning and advisory work Review work completed by junior staff and provide mentorship where required Liaise directly with clients and provide ongoing accounting and tax advice Assist Directors with client portfolio management and complex tax matters Ensure all work is completed in line with ATO regulations and Australian Accounting Standards About You 4–7 years’ experience within Public Practice Accounting Strong experience preparing and reviewing financial statements and tax returns Experience managing client relationships and deadlines Exposure to tax planning and advisory work CA or CPA qualified (or near completion) Experience using Xero, MYOB or similar accounting software Strong communication and leadership skills The Benefits Work closely with experienced Directors in a supportive environment Opportunity to mentor junior staff and progress into leadership roles Flexible working arrangements Training and professional development opportunities Social and collaborative team culture Modern CBD office close to cafes, shops and public transport This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Accountant looking to join a well-respected firm where they can further develop their technical skills and progress their career.
