Job Description The Senior Management Accountant is responsible for the following: Manage revenue accounting, including review of monthly revenue, journal postings, reconciliations, and oversight of billing and accounts receivable processes. Oversee labour costs, employee entitlements, accrued expenses, and doubtful/bad debt provisions, ensuring accurate financial records and reconciliations. Manage CAPEX and project accounting, including financial assets, contract variations, and major asset expansions. Perform management cost accounting, including cost centre reporting and calculation of management fees. Prepare statutory reporting, including Australian Bureau of Statistics returns, and ensure compliance with regulatory obligations. Property and lease accounting activities Business partner to operations team Support finance transformation initiatives, providing expertise in financial processes, project accounting, and revenue automation. The Successful Applicant A successful Senior Management Accountant should have: Relevant qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CA/CPA qualification Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis tools. Strong understanding of accounting standards and principles. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities. Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
