Description We are looking for an Energy leader to manage connections (distribution & transmission) on behalf of a Digital infrastructure provider. Global hyperscale data centre developer Over 5 GW built with a further 7 GW underway Melbourne based role, Renewables focus. Your new Company: A global data centre company that designs, develops, and operates digital infrastructure for hyperscale cloud providers and large enterprises. The company provides the physical facilities and the power necessary to support high-density computing, specifically for Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and cloud services. Your new role: Work alongside the CEO and spearhead the strategic direction of the client’s utility services, ensuring seamless grid connections (distribution & transmission), and the successful implementation of renewable energy sources. You will cultivate and nurture strong relationships with utility partners including AusNet, Powercor, Beon, Lumea, Transgrid, AEMO, and VicGrid. Leverage your expertise to shape PPA strategy and drive the integration of renewable energy generation. Who you are: Experience in a senior leadership role within the energy and utilities sector with accountability for business direction, growth strategies, and renewable energy portfolios. You have managed renewable energy integration, grid operations, and regulatory compliance. Your expertise might include full project lifecycle including feasibility studies, environmental assessments, grid connection process & design, PPA strategy & negotation and EPC contract management and delivery.
