Benefits: State bonus scheme Career development Opportunities Great team environment Retirement Fund Flexible Work Hours Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of national tender opportunities across both government and private sectors Collaborate closely with the sales, engineering, operations, & governance teams Producing high-quality, compliant, & competitive submissions that effectively showcase the company’s technical capabilities & commercial value Research and analyse market trends to identify and assess new business opportunities. Lead the end-to-end process for tenders, EOIs, RFQs, and proposals—from strategic planning to post-submission activities. Interpret technical requirements to craft compelling, customer-aligned strategies that support overall business objectives. Drive revenue growth through successful tender outcomes, market penetration, and proactive sales leadership. Achieve or exceed sales targets by delivering persuasive presentations, conducting site visits, and leading contract negotiations. Ensure all submissions clearly articulate our value proposition while meeting compliance, governance, and risk management standards Experience Required: At least 5 years of experience in the electrical industry, including roles in sales, engineering, installations, or business development Proven experience in managing the full tender lifecycle In-depth knowledge of the electrical and manufacturing sectors A strong track record of securing complex tenders across industries such as construction, energy, mining, infrastructure, manufacturing, and industrial Solid understanding of electrical engineering concepts, with the ability to effectively communicate with technical stakeholders Demonstrated expertise in project management, market research, marketing, and stakeholder engagement Strong commercial insight, including knowledge of compliance standards, cost structures, margin management, and pricing strategies Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Proficient in Microsoft Office, as well as ERP, CRM, reporting tools, and tender management platforms Ability to manage deadlines, assess risks, solve problems, and take a proactive approach to delivery Qualifications Required: Tertiary qualification in electrical engineering or a related discipline (additional qualifications in business, finance, or marketing will be highly regarded) Knowledge and understanding of the cable industry is essential Driver’s Licence If you are looking for a great opportunity in a position that offers longevity and possess the skills & experience required, please apply now or contact us directly: Office: 03 9088 6970 | Email: jess.wilson@rprtrades.com Please note that you need to reside in Australia to be considered for this position.
