About the Role Joblin Partners is partnering with a base metals producer operating a conventional processing facility in North West Queensland, within the Cloncurry Mount Isa region. This site based role will play a key part in supporting plant performance, metallurgical accounting and continuous improvement initiatives across the operation. Reporting to the Processing Manager, the Group Metallurgist will provide practical, hands on technical support to ensure safe, stable and optimised plant performance. This role suits a metallurgist who enjoys being present in the plant, working closely with operations, maintenance and laboratory teams to drive recovery and throughput outcomes. Key Responsibilities Monitor and optimise recovery, throughput and reagent consumption Deliver daily metallurgical reporting and performance analysis Maintain metallurgical accounting and reconciliation processes Identify and implement process improvement initiatives Support plant troubleshooting and technical investigations Ensure sampling integrity and data accuracy in collaboration with laboratory teams Contribute to safety, environmental and compliance standards About You Tertiary qualification in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering or related discipline 3 years experience in base metals processing Exposure to conventional hydrometallurgical or oxide style circuits highly regarded Strong analytical capability with a practical, site focused mindset Ability to communicate effectively with operators, supervisors and technical stakeholders Comfortable working in a remote FIFO environment What’s on Offer FIFO from Brisbane or Townsville Competitive salary package with site uplift Exposure to a growing base metals operation Supportive site leadership focused on operational improvement How to Apply To apply, please submit your application via SEEK.
