About the Role Joblin Partners is recruiting a Processing Manager for a base metals operation in North West Queensland. This is a senior site based leadership position responsible for the safe, efficient and cost effective operation of a conventional processing plant. Reporting to the General Manager, you will lead the processing department across operations, metallurgy and laboratory functions. The role requires a strong technical foundation combined with proven leadership capability to deliver production targets, cost control and continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Provide leadership across plant operations, metallurgy and laboratory teams Deliver production, recovery and cost targets aligned with site objectives Drive safety leadership and ensure compliance with statutory obligations Lead process optimisation and plant improvement initiatives Manage departmental budgets and operating costs Develop team capability through coaching and succession planning Work collaboratively with mining, maintenance and commercial teams About You Tertiary qualification in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering or similar Extensive experience in base metals processing Proven leadership experience in a processing superintendent or manager capacity Strong commercial acumen with experience managing operating budgets Demonstrated ability to lead teams in remote FIFO environments Strategic mindset with a hands on operational approach What’s on Offer FIFO from Brisbane or Townsville Senior leadership role within a growing copper operation Attractive remuneration package aligned with experience Opportunity to influence performance and future growth strategy How to Apply To apply, please submit your application via SEEK.
