Description Underground Diesel Fitters – DUGALD RIVER / 2&2 ROSTER Redpath Australia currently has opportunities for Diesel Fitters at our Dugald River Project, North Queensland. We specialise in shaft sinking, mine development, contract mining, raiseboring, underground construction, engineering & technical services, and specialty services in the mining and construction sectors. Responsibilities The role involves Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor on your crew you will enjoy working in a large but close-knit team of experienced HD Fitters. You will assist with – General mechanical work including repairs, attend breakdowns and perform service work to heavy mobile and fixed plant and equipment in a workshop environment. Conduct fault finding repairing and/ or replacing components as required; Maintain plant and equipment ensuring compliance with regulations; Qualifications We are looking for Heavy vehicle mobile equipment or diesel fitter trade qualification. Experience working with underground mining equipment, particularly heavy mobile equipment. Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills Valid manual drivers licence Current First Aid, & CPR qualification.
