Our client, a leading organisation within the automotive aftermarket parts sector, is seeking an experienced Inventory Manager to oversee a large, complex national inventory portfolio. Responsible for developing and executing inventory strategies that balance product availability, cost, and working capital you will lead a team of inventory analysts and work closely with product, supply chain, and branch networks to ensure stock levels support customer demand, promotional activity, and seasonal trends. Key Responsibilities Strategic Inventory Leadership – Develop and implement inventory strategies that optimise stock levels and minimise obsolescence. Align inventory planning with broader network objectives and demand forecasts. Operational Excellence – Build and maintain robust inventory processes, reporting, and analytics. Oversee forecasting, replenishment, and stock placement across multiple sites Change Management & Team Leadership – Drive the transition from centralised inventory control to store‑level accountability. Champion new systems, processes, and behaviours across the network. Cross‑Functional Collaboration – Partner with demand planning, supply chain, and product teams to support accurate forecasting and product flow. Work closely with branch managers to ensure inventory decisions support customer service and commercial outcomes and provide insights to support lifecycle management and operational decision‑making. Skills, Experience & Qualifications Demonstrated experience and strong achievements in inventory management within a complex, multi‑site environment. Relevant tertiary qualifications will be highly regarded. Experience with ERP systems (Pronto experience highly regarded), along with strong analytical capability with a track record of improving inventory performance.
