Description We currently have an opportunity for an OnSite Auditor to join our Government and Integrated Facilities Management team and play a key role in ensuring safe, high‑quality and compliant service delivery across our property portfolio. Reporting to the Assurance and Service Delivery Partner (SDP) Manager, you'll help deliver high‑quality outcomes that support our essential services. Please note: The role is based out of our Wollongong office and will require regular site‑based travel throughout the Illawarra region. What You’ll Do This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including: Conducting pre‑inspections, in‑progress inspections and post‑inspections to verify safety, quality, and contractual compliance. Assessing subcontractor workmanship and ensuring all works meet Downer and client expectations. Identifying non‑conformances, raising Business Improvement Forms (BIFs), and following up corrective actions through to completion. Investigating Zero Harm, Code of Conduct and environmental incidents, preparing reports, and communicating outcomes to stakeholders. Providing onsite guidance, supporting safe work practices, and helping maintain a proactive quality and safety culture. What You’ll Bring Experience in auditing, compliance or assurance roles, ideally within housing, asset maintenance or service delivery settings. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage respectfully and confidently across diverse stakeholder groups. High attention to detail, sound analytical capability and proficiency in reporting and documentation. A solid understanding of governance, regulatory and KPI frameworks, and the ability to work independently across multiple locations. Working knowledge of WHS, quality and contractual compliance requirements.
