As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced detail driven Bookkeeper / Payroll Administrator to support our finance and payroll operations and help keep everything running smoothly. This opportunity will best suit a friendly individual with excellent communication skills and attention to detail to support our successful operation. The role will be a combination of general Office Administration, end to end Bookkeeping and Payroll assistance. As part of our Finance Team, you will be working under the the direction of the Financial Officer, alongside the Payroll Officer and be assisted by the Accounts Payable Clerk. Description Skill Set: Administration: Manage and direct incoming phone calls to company personnel. Proactive inbox management: sorting, prioritizing, and responding to correspondence. Order, receive, and restock office and kitchen supplies. Mail collection, recording, distribution, and postage. Coordinate periodic record archiving. Action Job Requests and Receive Customer Purchase Orders Assist with debt collection Bookkeeping/Payroll: Accounts Payable Follow and maintain established processes Assist Accounts Payable Clerk with workflow and advise. Prepare weekly and monthly payment runs. Monitor open Purchase Orders– corresponding with purchaser as suppliers. Bank and Credit Card Reconciliation Assist with preparation of BAS and Payroll Tax lodgements Maintain various Excel spreadsheets to account for prepaid expenses Post EOM General Journal Entries as provided by the Finance Officer Maintaining accurate and confidential financial records Assist with maintaining the Company Asset register Raise Purchase Orders as required Fortnightly End to End Payroll Processing of up to 200 employees using ELMO Skills And Experiences Continuous Improvement Flagging errors, inefficiencies or gaps in processes .
