They are looking to recruit a number of Project Accountants to support a large-scale, high-volume project portfolio. These positions offer the opportunity to work within a commercially focused finance team supporting major infrastructure projects across Australia. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded project accountant who enjoys partnering closely with operations, working within complex project environments, and delivering meaningful financial insights that drive business performance. You will play a key role supporting project performance, financial integrity, forecasting, and commercial analysis. Key responsibilities include: Delivering accurate project accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting across complex contracts Analysing project performance drivers including margins, overheads, labour utilisation, and cost structures Supporting month-end processes, project reviews, and performance reporting Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and value creation across projects Building strong relationships across finance, operations, and project delivery teams providing commercial insights and recommendations Supporting and mentoring both finance and non-finance stakeholders across the business To be considered you will bring: CA / CPA qualification (or close to completion) Strong project accounting, budgeting, and forecasting experience within complex infrastructure / construction / telecommunications industries Excellent stakeholder engagement and business partnering capability Advanced Excel skills and exposure to Power BI reporting tools Experience working with SAP or large ERP systems highly regarded Strong commercial acumen and the ability to interpret operational project data into meaningful financial insights This is a permanent role offering hybrid working arrangements.
