You will be working Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 33hrs per fortnight. As a Support Service Employee your duties will include but not be limited to: Laundry Operations: Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute residents clothing Maintained a clean work area and monitored stock of laundry supplies Equipment: Regularly use, clean and maintain laundry equipment, such as washing machines and dryers. Lost and Found: Maintain a system for lost and found items to ensure residents' belongings are returned promptly. Maintain professional behaviour at all times in alignment with SCC Code of Conduct LI-DNI Previous experience in a similar role (laundry or cleaning will be highly regarded) Genuine compassion, commitment and enthusiasm Ability to work well in a team Ability to manage and prioritise work tasks in a timely manner Empathy towards the elderly and respectful of their needs
