About The Opportunity An excellent opportunity is available for a Broker Support Specialist to join the team and play a critical role in supporting brokers with day-to-day loan processing, lender communication, and deal progression. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative team environment, enjoys working behind the scenes to keep deals moving, and wants to build long-term career foundations within mortgage broking. Reporting to the leadership team, your responsibilities will include: Supporting brokers with end-to-end loan application processing Analysing income documentation, including tax returns, financials, BAS and bank statements Requesting, ordering and reviewing credit reports for clients Ordering property valuations through lender platforms Requesting and negotiating discounted interest rates with lenders Reviewing lender policies and assisting with scenario assessment Maintaining accurate records across Apply Online, Mercury and internal systems Ensuring files remain compliant with lender and regulatory requirements Contributing to process improvements, efficiencies and system enhancements whilst respecting company policies and procedures Providing clear, professional communication with lenders, clients and internal stakeholders About You The successful candidate will have: Experience in a mortgage broking, lending, or broker support role Strong understanding of lending policies across multiple lenders (highly regarded) Sound ability to analyse financial documents and serviceability data Confidence working with Microsoft Office applications Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail A customer-centric mindset and clear communication style The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team A proactive, solutions-focused approach to problem-solving What's in it for You?
