About you Your key duties and tasks: General upkeep and maintenance on the station as required with the dozer and grader (grading roads, stick raking) Tractor work - ploughing and planting, pasture renovation and slashing Daily pre-starts and maintaining air filters, oils and lubricants General servicing of machinery Water maintenance of dams and troughs What you will need A genuine interest in working and living on a cattle station Experience in driving heavy machinery Previous loader, dozer, and plant operation experience Nationally accredited plant tickets (desirable, but not essential) Ability to work as part of a team Current and unrestricted Drivers Licence We are looking for someone with a strong mechanical aptitude. Physical Demands This is a physically demanding job that includes both indoor and outdoor work in all types of weather and temperature environments. This job will require the ability to ascend/descend ladders. This job can be physically strenuous (demanding) from time to time. You will be expected to be able to walk, climb, bend, kneel, lift, grip, grasp, push and pull various tools and equipment. You will need the ability to frequently lift, push and pull from 10 - 20 kilo's and occasionally more.
