We’re looking for a Rural Generalist GP (VMO) to join our small but vital team, providing GP care to the King Island community and participating on the VMO hospital roster. The role: You’ll be one a GP VMOs serving a tight-knit community of just over 1,400 people. Based at the island’s only general practice — located right next to the local hospital — you’ll enjoy a hands-on, full-scope role with real impact. The King Island Hospital offers emergency and acute care and a mix of outpatient services, including mental health, physiotherapy, and podiatry. It’s a Tier 1 hospital accepting ATS CAT 1–5 patients as part of the Tasmanian Health Service.
