Total GP Care Norwood is GP co located with a private urgent care centre (Total Urgent Care Norwood) located just 3 kms from the CBD. We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our team to work full time over 7 days. We have multiple positions available (fulltime/ part-time/ casual). The role involves supporting the consulting GP's as required, Urgent care triage and treatments, immunisations, spirometry, dressings and wound care, assisting in minor procedures, chronic disease management and health assessments. Essential criteria to be successful in this role:- Current APHRA registration, police clearance and CPR certificate High level of communication skills with both patients and staff Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team Minimum of 1-2 years experience in General Practice or Hospital Setting is required. Computer literate and previous experience using Best Practice would be an advantage. Passion for Chronic Disease Management. Minimum of 1-2 years experience in Acute Care is required. Extensive experience with immunisation programmes and procedures is essential. This position would suit a highly motivated, knowledgeable nurse who likes to make a difference in patient's health and well-being.
