Responsibilities: Provide independent compliance advice across business activities, supporting compliance systems, reporting and day-to-day regulatory obligations. Partner closely with senior stakeholders, projects and first-line teams to ensure compliance requirements are clearly understood, embedded and effectively implemented. Support the delivery of meaningful compliance insights and reporting to senior leadership, risk committees and the Board, contributing to informed decision-making and transparency. Lead and manage complex compliance matters, including breach assessment, classification, remediation planning and oversight of corrective actions. Contribute to the ongoing uplift of the compliance framework, systems and culture, including monitoring and testing controls, enhancing compliance tools and coaching first-line stakeholders. What you'll need to succeed: Min of 5 years’ experience in a compliance role within the financial services industry, with a preference for insurance. Open to candidates from Big Four consulting firms, provided they have specialised within a financial services compliance function. Strong experience across incident and breach management, obligations management, and the development and execution of compliance frameworks and uplift programs within an insurance environment is ideal. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders effectively across the business. Location: Candidates can be based in Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane, with a preference for Sydney-based applicants.
