Here at Motion Recruitment we are partnering with a leading organization to find a detailed-oriented and experienced Senior QA Tester to join their ICT team. This is a pivotal role supporting high-impact business transformation projects within their Enterprise PMO Delivery Portfolio. In this position, you will act as a key contributor to quality assurance, executing testing activities across all EPMO-led initiatives. You will be responsible for ensuring that solutions are robust, scalable, and delivered on schedule by utilizing both manual and automated testing frameworks. Responsibilities : Execute & Automate: Run test cases for Front-end and Back-end systems across Dev, Test, UAT, and Prod environments. You will actively support automation efforts using Postman (API) and Cypress (Front End). Plan & Prepare: Review test plans and scripts based on project requirements and assist in preparing test data and environments. Assure Quality: Participate in defect triage, document results clearly, and ensure all testing activities align with the organization's standards and best practices. Collaborate: Work closely with Developers, Business Analysts, and Project Managers to clarify requirements and provide feedback to improve product quality. Drive Improvement: Contribute to the enhancement of testing processes and stay updated on the latest testing trends and technologies. Requirements: To be successful in this role, candidates must possess 5 years of experience in software testing or QA roles, with specific expertise in: Technical Stack: Hands-on experience with Postman, Cypress, and Cucumber/Gherkin is mandatory. Methodology: Strong experience with test management, defect tracking tools, and the Atlassian Suite (Jira/Confluence). Education: Tertiary qualification in Information Technology (or equivalent experience). Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to work independently within a complex stakeholder environment. Highly Regarded ISTQB Certification. Experience managing testing across programs of work within a highly regulated environment. This role is a 6 month Fixed Term Contract paying between $130,000 - $150,000 Super annually with potential for extension to the right candidate. This role is based in Sydney working hybrid 2-3 Days in their CBD office.
