We’re looking for proactive, detail-oriented individuals to join our Recovery and Settlements team for a 9-month secondment. This role is open to internal candidates based in Brisbane, Sydney & Melbourne only. About the Role: As a Recovery & Settlements Consultant, you will be responsible for effectively managing a portfolio of Recovery and Settlements claims for all our consumer brands. Ensuring there are sufficient estimates on a claim, negotiating liability to maximise every recovery or settlement savings opportunity. You will deliver exceptional customer care contributing to our customer obsession whilst also contributing, innovating, and adapting your contribution in line with our best in class claims strategy. What you’ll do: Team & Professional Conduct – Contribute to a positive, efficient team environment by managing time effectively, demonstrating professionalism, and supporting colleagues and leaders as required. Continuous Improvement & Development – Actively engage in performance reviews, pursue professional growth, and provide constructive feedback and ideas to enhance team and process outcomes. Financial Management – Manage recovery and settlement processes efficiently, identify and maximise recovery opportunities, negotiate fair outcomes, and consistently achieve individual targets. Risk, Governance & Compliance – Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and risk frameworks; ensure compliance with quality assurance, CHaaFS, and regulatory standards. Customer Experience – Deliver exceptional service by handling claims and enquiries promptly, communicating with empathy, resolving complaints professionally, and applying financial hardship processes with care and accuracy. Operational Excellence – Take ownership of claims, meet or exceed performance measures (calls, documentation, processing), and make timely, informed decisions within authority limits.
