About the role We are seeking an experienced Service Support Officer to join our Commonwealth Government client. The successful candidate will provide the front line of customer service to clients, delivering support both in person at reception and via telephone, while also providing operational and administrative assistance to regional clinical service delivery staff to ensure high-quality service delivery. An initial 12-month labour hire contract is on offer, with the possibility of a 12-month extension. This role is full time, and is available to candidates in Stafford, QLD. Please note: the successful candidate must be an Australian citizen and be willing/able to obtain a Baseline security clearance. A Working with Vulnerable People registration or Working with Children Check will also be required prior to commencing in the position. Duties: Provide high quality customer service as the first point of contact for clients, visitors and stakeholders, in person, over the phone or via email and SMS. Support appointment and centre operations, including appointment management in the Client Management System. Provide administrative support across service streams through data entry, record keeping, workflow coordination and correspondence. Assist with coordinating regional events, group programs, community activities, internal meetings and external referral processes. Maintain daily regional operations, including correspondence handling, invoice processing, travel arrangements, deliveries, resource requests and property or maintenance issues. Support the Practice Manager and Assistant Practice Manager through quality assurance tasks, operational data support and compliance with WHS, Workplace Diversity, APS Values, Employment Principles and the Code of Conduct. Requisite skills/experience: Demonstrated experience supporting business operations and service delivery within a health service and/or government environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
