Event Operations Manager – Full Time Mary Mae’s Bar | Brisbane Powerhouse Mary Mae’s Bar, a waterfront venue located at Brisbane Powerhouse, is seeking a hands-on Event Operations Manager to lead the execution of private, corporate, and inbound events. About the Role: · Execute events , BEOs ensuring setup, service, and pack-down align with client expectations. · Lead and supervise FOH teams during event service. · Deliver high service standards and exceptional guest experience. · Support venue operations on non-event days, including group bookings, inbounds, enquiries, and venue layouts. · Liaise with kitchen, bar, AV, and FOH teams to ensure smooth event delivery. · Reports to Venue Manager. · Work closely with the Event Sales Manager to ensure seamless event delivery. · Manage general reservations and picnic coordination. · Identify opportunities to improve workflow, efficiency, and guest satisfaction. About You: · Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar events or operations role. · Strong understanding of event service styles (alternate drop, shared feasts, canapés). · Solid hospitality operations background from coffee to cocktails. · Experience with iVvy and 7Rooms (preferred). · Confident floor leader with strong communication and organisational skills. · Able to multitask and perform under pressure. · Available to work evenings, weekends, public holidays, and school holidays. · Valid RSA.
