Clearance - Baseline or NV1 Location - Anywhere in Australia Contract - 6 months with extensions Senior Full Stack Developer (Front-End Focus) Location: Anywhere in Australia (Hybrid) Contract - 6 months with Extensions Clearance - Baseline or NV1 The Opportunity We’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer with strong front-end engineering expertise to build secure, scalable, and user-centric digital products in a modern cloud and AI-enabled environment. You’ll play a key role in shaping front-end architecture, building high-quality UI components, supporting back-end services, and integrating AI and automation capabilities. This is a hands-on role with real influence over engineering standards, performance, accessibility, and security. What You’ll Be Doing Design and build modern front-end applications using ReactJS and TypeScript Create responsive, accessible UIs using TailwindCSS, Shadcn/UI, React Router, and modern CSS Develop reusable component libraries and design-system patterns Optimise performance through effective state management, memoisation, and code-splitting Build and maintain secure REST APIs and back-end services Integrate UI features with AI/LLM services on cloud platforms Contribute to CI/CD pipelines , automated testing, and deployment workflows Apply secure coding practices aligned with Australian Government standards Collaborate in Agile teams and provide technical leadership and code reviews What You’ll Bring Strong experience delivering complex front-end applications with React and TypeScript Deep knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, NodeJS, modern CSS, accessibility (WCAG), and responsive design Experience with Redux Toolkit, Zustand, React Query , or similar state management tools Familiarity with Webpack, Vite, and monorepo tooling (e.g. Turborepo) Experience integrating front-end UIs with AI/LLM workflows , including Python-based tools such as Chainlit or Streamlit Working knowledge of SQL, relational databases, and ORMs/query builders Experience with Azure and/or AWS , Git, CI/CD, containerisation, and observability tooling Strong understanding of secure coding, identity management, and API security Experience with automated testing tools such as Jest, React Testing Library, and Playwright Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders Desirable Cloud or AI certifications (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) Experience working in regulated or security-conscious environments Why Apply?
